Punching & Forming:

We offer a complete sheetmetal working service. Our principal plant includes:

3 metre x 6mm NC guillotine

Strippit FC1000 XT CNC Punch

2x Edward Pearson Brake Presses

Guifil PE-60 Brake Press

Materials

: The following table outlines the thickness of materials we can shear:

• Aluminium - 4mm
• Mild Steel - 4mm
• Stainless Steel - 3mm

For thicker gauge material we use the laser cutter which can cut upto 12mm thick material.

Punching

: Our 30 ton Strippit FC1000 XT CNC Punch which is equipped with a Fanuc OP CNC controlled mechanical press drive offers reliable punching of materials up to 4mm. The machine is auto indexing with a 24 station turret with 2 rotation stations. We hold a large tool library which is regularly maintained.

Forming

: The largest of our 3 brake presses, the Edward Pearson 100 ton 8 axis press brake is capable of bending material up to 3100mm wide. We have a large tool library including both air-bend and bottoming dies which allows us to form complex bends such as corrugations or roll beads as well as standard 90° folds, seaming, embossing and punching.
